We just have so many travel plans for 2014, but hopefully 2015 will be our year!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11865879520260764128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-800078241617025012.post-64149693642780006432014-04-20T08:44:46.164-07:002014-04-20T08:44:46.164-07:00OMG you HAVE to go to Maine. And there is so much variety there, from the coastlines with a million little islands and rocky shores, to thick forested mountains with hidden waterfalls you have to hike to, to a desert (yes and actual desert) right near Freeport (it's a little north of Portland, Maine - and ok, it was caused by erosion, not by weather, but it's still really cool).

Go in the summer and experience a real, New England clam bake on the beach, check out Sandy Harbour, with crystal clear water you can see to the bototm of for miles and white "sand' (finely ground seashells) beach that lulls you into believing you are in some Caribbean paradise (you know, until you actually put your foot in the water, which even in the middle of the summer, never gets above 50F).

Plus we have a bunch of cities named after foreign countries and towns, you you can tell your friends you are going to Belgrade then heading to China in the afternoon for a swim. :)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12182587350019258214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-800078241617025012.post-17757374733992050142014-04-17T12:33:46.874-07:002014-04-17T12:33:46.874-07:00Ahhh, I see. Any interest?

I'm excited because I'll be in Puerto Rico twice this year and although it isn't a "state" per se, maybe it will be someday and I'll have it done, too! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11865879520260764128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-800078241617025012.post-26105470691166086032014-04-17T11:24:43.734-07:002014-04-17T11:24:43.734-07:0046/50 state is not too shabby at all!!! visiting a...46/50 state is not too shabby at all!!! visiting all 50 states is at the top of my travel bucket list. it's hard to convince my friends to take a cross country road trip with me though because i can't drive so it'll be all on them to do the heavy lifting.
